I have a vintage Master Mariner Auto with date, anyone could enlighten me on the history or background of this watch? Thanks and Happy New Year to all LeCoultre lovers.

Nice example, USA market watch, 1960s, probably comes with the caliber 881 movement. Bracelet is not original to the watch. The master Mariner name was used in many many models, especially in the USA. |

Thanks for the view. Yes, I saw many different styles of Master Mariner, and it seemed that many were not fit for swimming (not water proof) with dress watch look. I will try to open the screw back later and examine the movement. |
