Dear All, I have a JLC master-quartz that is in great condition. However, the little part that holds the battery in place (looks like a bent 2 prong fork) is broken and the battery keeps poping out of place causing the watch to stop. I have searched everywhere to find this little part and have not been successful. Any suggestions on how I can obtain this piece is greatly appreciated. |

You should be able to put a generic battery clip that will do the job. The chances of finding the original part are slim. |

Thank you Zaf, Any idea where I can find one? My watchmaker tried another piece but the piece is a bit taller than the original and its causing the watch to stop. I am guessing it is hitting the inner case and causing a short of some kind. Does that make sense? Thanks - Key |

You can buy generic ones in small bags from the parts suppliers, it really should not be a big deal. Worst case, your guy should be able to make one. |
