I have recently come across a watch that was my grandfathers. I don't know if it is worth something or a replica. It has a silver face with black roman numerals. It also has some type of alarm. Under the twelve it has the words LeCoultre underlined (not Jaegar LeCoultre), Below that on the alarm dial it says Memovox, and at the bottom below the six it says T Swiss T. I wanted to include a photo, but I can't seem to get it small enough. I hope this is enough information to help identify it. Thank you.

Seems to be a LeCoultre alarm, I'd need a photo to determine model.

Thank you so much, I wasn't sure if anyone would reply. I have attached a photo. unfortunatly it's not very good because I had to scan the watch as my husband is away and took the camera. I hope it reveals enough. I would love more infrmation. The watch has a funny band on it but I have the orignal. How valuable are these watches, should I insure it? I really know nothing about them.Watch Photo

Is it a bumper automatic, i.e. does it appear to have an oscillating weight inside the watch when you shake it?

There is a very faint tapping when I shake it. Is that what you mean?

I am obviously a novice, so I really don't know what that means. Is there a model number that goes with that information? Does it have any value besides it's sentamental worth?
