just purchased pre-owned jlc reverso with no box or papers for the mrs. appears to be the same as this watch below (ref # is same, but can't tell if it's a quartz). The watch is a quartz, and it seems all the new duetto's are manual wind. also, the caseback is slightly different than the picture (just says reverso at top, and has the jl logo on bottom) http://image.www.rakuten.co.jp/watch-jubilee/img10412314726.jpeg anyone know anything about when this would have been made, if there's any chance it's not legit, and whether i paid way too much ($2k). i can still return it for a full refund. watch is in pretty good condition - strap is showing some wear, but it still presents well. any comments, info, appreciated. thx. |

Thx, The duetto was never made in quartz. Try winding the watch . You should be able to tell if it is mechanical from the clicks of the ratchet. The duetto is a masterpiece of enginering. I really don't think that anyone has even tried doing anything like it in Quartz. |
