My lady friend saw a photo of this watch from a magazine. She really loves it. I'd like to get one for her. From what I know it's a LeCoultre Galaxy (37 diamonds) Mystery Dial Watch. "LeCoultre" is at 6 o'clock position and the dial is white. It also has a mesh bracelet. From the posts I found in this forum, there are a few versions of the Galaxy, different calibers, with or without Vacheron at the back, etc. Can anyone give me a rough idea which version galaxy this is? year? Was it ever sold with a mesh braceles? Where can I find it most likely? I will post photo in a few days since I have to secretly do it without letting her know. :p |

That looks like the Vacheron backed manual wind version. It looks like the mesh was added later. Normally, though I am not an expert on the model, these watches have detachable bands. |

Thanks, Zaf! Band as in black leather bands? Do you know which Caliber it usually came with? |

I came across this link during my search today. Do you think the bracelet is original? It looks like it's connected to the case! The watch is no longer available but I just want to confirm if such thing really exists. http://www.etreasuresonline.com/servlet/Detail?no=2106 (Click on "Detailed Description" to see more pix) |

Hard to say, is the photo you show a catalog shot? I think if the bracelet is original to the watch, it would be stamped LeCoultre. |

I know this is subtlety, but I do not wish to comment on live auctions nor do I really want them posted here... In cases like this, just show the link to the photo only, then ask your question. Since it is up already, to answer your question, I'm not sure. The bracelet seems like a later customized add-on. |
