Hi, i wonder whether anyone knows if it was common in the 40ies to use acrylic glass for JLC wrist watches (the case number of my wathes reads 400291 and the movement number 469174 - so i assume it is correct to date it to the 40ies.) many thanks for any expert answer. R

I think it could easily go either way (plastic/glass) for the 1940s.
