I just purchased the watch in the photo for my husband and was hoping someone had knowledge about the time period/value of this watch? I bought it from a family friend who lives in London who thought it was from the 1940s but wasn't sure. Is it strange that it only has JAEGER written and not Jaeger LeCoultre?  | ||

Hi. The dial on this watch has definitely been repainted, so it is a little harder to say if it's 1940s or 1950s...what is the serial number on the back? | ||

The back has two numbers: 832765 22436 Can the dial be fixed/is this worth valuable enough to be worth fixing up or given that it works you would recommend just keeping as is? Thank you! |
