Could someone please give me an idea of value on this watch, and also maybe the age of it? It is 14mm wide and in perfect condition. Thanks![Pic-1](https://www.classicwatch.com/discus/messages/622/7973.jpg) ![Pic-2](https://www.classicwatch.com/discus/messages/622/7974.jpg) |

Do you have a picture of the back of the watch? It looks like you have an 18K gold backwind. Probably powered by a caliber 104 movement (the watch doesn't look small enough for a cal 101). Date is going to be tough without seeing a movement serial number and I doubt you want to open the watch up yourself. The movements on these small backwinds are quite fragile and sensitive to dust intrusion. In addition, the soft gold screw holding the backwind crown on has reverse threads and most people strip the threads taking them out. Watches with the cal 104 movement have been built for many decades, but just from the styling, your watch appears to be from the 1960s or later. Value will be highly subjective. While this is a very scarce model, very few people collect them and the market favors larger sized watches. I've seen most of these models sell for just slightly over gold melt value recently. You would probably be lucky to get $1,000-$1,200 for it at auction. This JLC movement was used by Vacheron also and I sold a Vacheron version of this exact watch a couple years ago for around $2,000.
