I haven't seen much mentioned of this movement. I'm looking at one with serial number 899761. Do you know the approx. date of mfg? Also, is this a reliable & serviceable movement (in terms of parts availability)?

Thanks,
Bruce

JLC parts are tough to find. Be forewarned.

You movement dates to about 1953.

The watch in question is purportedly an 18K case. The seller wants $1200. Also, the dial looks very clean. Do you think it was redone?

I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks,
Bruce
