My LeCoultre triple date with moon phase wrist watch changes the month after about 21 days. The watch runs great otherwise. Any ideas as to why the month is changing so early instead of at 30 days?? To help date the watch: I estimate that the watch was made in the late 1940's or early 50's. It is in a stainless steel case with a rose gold bezel and a rose gold crown. The openings for the plungers (to set the day, date, etc.) are extremely small. I have to use a straight pin or needle to depress the plungers. I would appreciate any help or advice. I am NOT a watchmaker. Frank |

I do not wear the watch daily. But I have wound it daily and kept a daily record of its performance over 3 different months (the time of day when wound plus accuracy). At the beginning of each month I would manually set the date and the month. It ALWAYS changed the month on the 21st day. Frank |

OK. I understand. Nothing is seriously wrong. What you need to do, is move the HAND that points to the day of the month UP 10 DAYS, so that it turns over at 31 instead of 21. Any reasonably competent watchmaker should be able to do this in a few minutes. |

Zaf- Thank you. I will turn this information over to my watchmaker. I sincerely appreciate your prompt reply. Frank |
