Hello friends,
excuse me for this very general post, but I would ask for your help regarding my 1st vintage JLC. I had an eye on the new DSA but since I like vintage watches more, I decided to go for an old model. I want to buy this watch for the birth of my child and sometimes pass it over to him/her. I would like a watch under 10.000 EUR with classical shape. SS or gold I don't really care. I like the Memovoxes in principle, but some look to tiny. Wich watch would you recommend? Is it possible to get a vintage Deep Sea Alarm in the region of 10.000 EUR? I go to a watch trading fair next week and I won't come back without a JLC!
Thank you very much in advance!
BR
Klaus

For a European Deep Sea Alarm the answer is simply no. Sounds you are going to do an investment, even when emotional based. Guess you are talking about the Munich fair next weekend - my personal advice is not to set yourself under pressure to buy something. Patience is the key. ;)
Maybe you first want to look into Zaf's book to get an idea about vintage watches, since you are German, drop me a line off board and I try to give some assistance.
