It is probably a caliber 449 or 463. You should be able to see the caliber number under the balance wheel. It helps to see it if the movement is not running. The year is early 1950s.

It is from that family of movements, check under the balance wheel for the exact caliber.

The case has nothing to do with it. LOOK AT THE MOVEMENT, under the balance wheel, that is the wheel that is ticking back and forth, and the caliber number will be under it on the outside edge of the movement.
