I have my father's watch that he got in Rome at the end of the War (mid 1940's), I had it cleaned and oiled and looks great. My photo may not show these very well but what would be a normal second hand is really the day of the month on the very outer part of face. It also has 2 windows that show the day of the week and month. The Model # is 484/A and the serial number is 352246. Does anyone know the year it was made and about what it would be valued at.. I'm not sure Mono of the Value but the watch repair man told me he found one close to this and it was about $2000.00. I think that is not bad for a watch over 60 years old. Thanks Zaf for the info... Scott\ popjpeg{78081,USMC} |

It all depends on the condition. If the lugs are bent, maybe $2000 is OK, if not a little higher is OK too. |
