I am keen to buy a LeCoultre Automatic and notice that the Master Mariners do not seem to be as much as the old "Bumper" automatics (on eBay). Why is this? Are they inferior? Are they possibly not LeCoultre movements but ebauches watches finished by LeCoultre? I would appreciate any information.
Thanks
John

Master Mariners have LeCoultre made movements. They come in both bumper and full rotor models and are not inferior to earlier Bumpers in any way.

I have a LeCoultre Memovox in perfect working order. It even has the original signed crowns. I am anxious to swap it for an automatic Memevox (and pay the difference, naturally). Have you any suggestions as to where I should advertise it? Should I buy one on eBay and then sell mine the same way? Any suggestions (or offers) would be appreciated. Please contact me at [email protected]
Thanks John
