i need to set the time on a jeager le coultre atmos mantle clock. anyone know how or where to find the instructions?

You set the time by taking the glass cage off and turning the hands by hand. If you want to be extra safe you can lock the clock while doing this by sliding the locking lever at the base of the clock if your model has this. Also make sure the clock is 100% level.

More exact. You only want to move the minute hand clockwise to adjust the time. Do not touch the hour hand at all and don't move the minute hand counter clockwise. As Zaf stated, you have to adjust the clock level as per a bubble level on the clock or a bubble level on top for extra
accuracy.

Always good advice to move hands clockwise on just about anything when there is no setting apparatus. Earlier models do not have the bubble, so you'd need to go to the level in that case.
