Just picked up this watch and wanted more detailed info on this (if someone knows the more info on movement, year of manufacture, ect). I jumped into this one pretty quick but it "called" to me!

Also, I'd like to find a cool medium or dark brown strap (I think calf and NOT gator for this one). Any recommendations and can someone tell me the size strap this needs (38.1mm case)?

Also, any sources for a JLC vintage buckle or deployant? Thanks in advance!

No source for geniue vintage JLC buckles, check Ebay, there is a guy from Canada selling what most likely are reproductions.

For a strap matching your taste, a visit at your local jeweler is probably the best bet.

I just checked the canadian buckles and they look puny. Only 14mm wide, ladies? I don't think these would fit unless the strap tapers down? Hoser, when you get the watch, measure ID from lug to lug. I'm guessing more like 18mm.
