I have a pair of JLC Odyssey, Round face 18k with diamond around the face. My wife crack her watch face and manage to loose the crown as well. I send the watch in via BIRKS in Toronto in late December and till now I have no watch in my hand. Birks call me recently and said they got all the parts but cannot do the repair in Toronto so have to send it back to Swiss and that will take another 6-8weeks. is it normal for a JLC repair to take close to 6Months or just my luck ? |

Normal for them, but not for you. Right Zaf? I like the way you put that. It's probably the parts that took so long, especially if it was an odd crystal shape or something. What's a nominal (Zaf) turn around for crystal and crown, plus cleaning if that is why they had to ship it to the factory? 4-6 weeks? |

If you don't need parts (which can be nightmarish and very time consuming and expensive to source), by the time I get the watch to the shop, they service it and I pick it up, it's usually 3 weeks. Sometimes depening on the load, it's less than 10 days. The parts search can totally skew these figures. |

Zaf, Thank you for the reply. The watch we have is Odysseus not Odyssey typing mistake. one more question. Now I need to purchase another JLC and I am looking at the ladies small reverso classic with pink face and leather strap. The price I got is CAD 3550 so around USD 3200 is that consider fair price or too expensive? Thank you |

Your size take is a little confusing. There is a classic size which for many years was the only size and a smaller size usually refered to as the lady's size. Also, are you refering to a new watch, what metal, Quartz or mechanical? You need to narrow this down before you ask for comparisons or prices |
