The k885 would date to approx 1967-68 |

They will not sell individual parts and complete overhauls will be in excess of $1000, most likely exceeding the value of your watch. |

Zaf- My worldtime manual states the following and word for word the way it is written: " Care: Your Memodate World Timer requires no more care than any other fine watch. To add to it's longevity avoice excessive abose. Have it cleaned and oiled every 12-14 months by your Franchised LeCoultre jeweler. Remove your watch when performing heavy chores such as home or auto repairs, construction work, gardening, etc. " If someone took this literally, the service alone would have cost some outrageous amount of money. Porsche owners could really relate to this one. |

Sorry. The typos were my fault. I do get your point. Besides, most "Pour sha's" are also hand made. At least that is why they need lots of TLC. I think the hand made watches seem to be longer lasting than their machine made brothers. |
