Please, does anyone know if JLC provided Vacheron with the raw auto movement for the cal 1019/1? Thank you. |

Sadly, I'm not versed with JLC automatic movements... In attempting to direct and to some degree control my watch 'addiction;' to collect 'the best' of pre- quartz Cal development, I've concluded I must look outside JLC, to AP and perhaps Vach for JLC's best work... I have the stellar JLC auto Cal920 w/ Gyromax balance in its AP Cal 2120 iteration... I almost had the manual Cal 1002/2 also with Gyromax, but sent it back as it was damaged... |

I think the manual wind versions used in the old Vach watches, to me at least, are far more attractive than the autos. |
