I have a jlc 18k square faced watch with a gold band. The serial number on the back of the movement is 131701
There are also number on the back of the case A49112 on the outside and s 32589 on the inside any ideas how old and or what the value might be.

Double check the movement serial #, I think you are missing a digit.

Please shrink the picture and post here. If they're too big for here, I don't want to receive them via email, Thanks.

OK, thanks. It is missing the sweep seconds hand. This appears to be a "uniplan" model, the dial appears to have been restored at some point. Value of the head, perhaps around $1200 as it is. Maybe more, hard to tell what kind of discount given the 2 issues I have pointed out.

Would it be possible to repair the second hand? Also what are the markings on the inside of the case back there are some stamps and some scratched series of numbers? Any significance? The other question I have I'd about the band. I haven't seen a gold band like that on any other JLC' s pictured on the site. Is it original or did my grandfather have it made?
