I have a Memovox, 825 movement. The watch was damaged in a bizarre watch winder incident and had to be sent to the factory for service. From what I can tell, they totally refurbished it. I have a better list at the house of what was done, but included a complete service, dial, alarm disc, crowns/pipe, etc. total with shipping was over $1,900. My question is, if I went to sell, what's it worth? Strap is a non JLC aftermarket in good condition. I of course have the warranty cards and paperwork from the service. It was done over the last year, I received the watch back in Nov. of 05 I think. I've only worn it twice since then.

Thanks,
Jerry

I tried to post a picture, doesn't look like it worked. The watch is SS, black face and alarm disc with Chrome markers.

I would say that it is basically worth what a mint example of a similar memovox is worth, not more, not less (could be up to 2500$ for a mint black dial, difficult to tell without seeing the watch).

The factory replacement of dial and crowns for NOS ones will IMHO not have either added value or devalued the watch compared to one completely original from new in exact same condition

Yes. it worked. The refurb looks a bit odd to me. For example, the hands are brown and the dial is black. I would have thought they would have used SS hands or something. Very odd....

I'm not an expert since I still work for a living. :-)

The hands are not brown, they are SS. The picture is not a good one, I am not skilled at all at photographing watches.

I think $2500 for a factory refurbed one, with NOS dial and a receipt is about right.

I think this model should have a black glossy inner disc as the original one has.
