Well I had a Jeweler open it up today. He said the number on the movement was 1596093. Thanks Mort

I inherited this watch and its in near mint condition, has original croc band and everything. Should I wear it or stick it away?

The K881 is the movement caliber. If you're going to wear the watch, I would take the original LeCoultre croc band/buckle off and replace it with a modern band for daily wear. The old original band will be a little brittle and won't last long under daily wear, but will add a lot of value on the watch if you decide to sell it later. My 2 cents...
