Thanks for your advice.
I posted this watch on Ebay,item no 8907099057 but got no bids at a start price of �650.
Could somebody hepl me understand why please.
Start price too high or wrongly described,bad presentation

1) The dial has been refinished very differently than it left the factory. This probably turned a lot of collectors off. The signed crowns also appear to be from a later model watch. These early wrist alarms didn't have signed crowns.

2) The price is too high. These very eary manual wrist alarms rarely fetch that type of money unless they are pristine and original.

3) Bad auction strategy. To fetch the best price possible, use a low starting price and no reserve to attract the largest bidding audience. Statistics show that this strategy yields final prices much higher than auctions with a higher start price.
