have a watch that belonged to either my Grandfather, or Uncle, gold casing, white face, roman numerals, stopwatch also. face just says "jaeger". Could this be from before jaeger merged with lecoultre, thus early 20's or so? I'm not an aficionado, just rediscovered it recently, and very much in admiration. I believe that the strap was replaced, as it looks newer, and the strap buckle has the "JL" on it. But could the watch itself be pre-merger? Any comments appreciated. |

Hi Bobby, Sounds like you have a Chronograph, are there two pushers to start and reset the stop function? Chronograph labels are a bit different to "regular" wristwatches of the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand. Its surely produced after the merge of both houses.
