Hi everybody, This is my first post. The reason: a few years ago Jaeger-leCoultre decided to auction this very nice watch for a good cause: the 1958 Geophysic Chronometer Model E168. I tried winning this auction, but it was online and in the last second I lost unfortunately. I can't stop thinking about it. Does anybody have more information about this watch? And any suggestions as to how I could try to purchase one would be greatly appreciated (I tried a few things, but no luck). What would be a reasonable price? Thanks for reading this!

I think that one went for a LOT of money. The last one in steel, in nice condition I saw was 9-10,000 Euro, very clean example though. If the dial has issues, it can be 30-40% less. |
