Looks like you have case reference 24002-42 made from 1973 to 1975. I'd have to ask the factory how many were made but the totals for the movement itself is 7000.

I do not thank it has a "series" name. Perhaps Ilja has a name from an old catalog, but as far as I lnow it's just a case reference.

@ Ilja,

Thank you very much!
Do you have a larger picture of the description (hardly to read)?
You wrote that the movement number is 2202835 and case number is 1436004. On my watch the movement number is 2202037 and case number 1422345. All other features match. Can you explain the differences?

Sorry to piggback on your post but I have not been successful posting under my user name. My Mom has a LeCoultre watch that I cannot identify anywhere else. The face is somewhat rectangular with the nine and three actual number 9 and 3. The twelve and six spots are little squares with the other numeric positions as tick marks. The casing is gold (colored?) and it is a manual wind. The band is leather. The face has only LeCoultre not Jaeger LeCoultre. Can anyone tell me about this piece? Thanks.

Holger - Movement serial is not related to case serial, so the observed difference is nothing to worry about.
I have it as original document.
Email me your fax# and Ill forward it.
Due to understandable reasons scans wont be availabe.

Zaf - Watch and info aint mine. Comes from SC of our "elites" friends...
This one is my watch, now serving my Dad:

@ Ilja

Hello, here' my Fax-Nr.: +49-06152-64715
One more question about produced models: You wrote 1150 produced in Steel 1974. Was this watch only available 1974?
Best regards to all, Holger

Holger - Fax sent. As youll see, catalog page dates 1975. So it surely was available for some years. Not sure the production number given is for 1974 only. From how I know JLC its the entire production for this reference.

Hex - Thanks. Check profile and you discover all.
