I am trying to identify a vintage Jaeger - LeCoultre watch that I purchased from friend recently. I would like to find out more about it. I have attached a photo below. Please help me identify the watch type and date it was made, please?

The movement serial number is 1074516

The Metal back cover number is 588975

What is S.A.B mean?

How much do you think this watch worth?Jaeger - LeCoultre (Front)Jaeger - LeCoultre (Back)

I don't know what mdoel it is. If you look inside the case back, it will have a case reference number, most likely starting with an E.

SAB. looks like a later addition of either a person's initials or a jeweler name. The case has pitting so value is probably in the $200-300 range. It dates to circa 1955.
