Hi, I am currntly in the process of overhauling a Jaeger LeCoultre Baguette 8 day mantle clock, although the movement is a straight forward design (more like a watch) I have come up against a problem in disassembling the barrel from the back plate of the clock, because the barrel arbour has a shoulder that is preventing the back plate from sliding off?? the only way I can see that this maybe overcome is if the barrel arbour is of a split variety?? If any one has overhauled one of these clocks or has any information that may help me in any way I would be very grateful. Thanks - Joe |
