I was wondering if anyone may know why this particular watch (small deco style gold/black snap open cover that is used to set the watch up as a desk alarm) does not have the JL stamp on the crowns. Would it indicate they have been replaced? Is it possible that some were made without the stamps. The outside cover is 721000 The inside cover is marked with some hand engravings that are a bit worn but look like IP2600K-1-1640 and the movement is marked with 1260336 P618 There is no indication as to the number of jewels although there are a few above and some visible underneath the mechanical workings. I wonder if anyone has any information that would help me also know what kind of gold this is just looking at these numbers. Sorry I am not a watch expert but I am learning so much. I don't have any photos to download just yet. If you think it would me more helpful I will try to do that. Thank You in advance.
