Good afternoon all,
I'm hoping I'm not shutting the gate after the pony has bolted here.
I've just bought this watch on ebay - 170605202845
I bought it for two reasons 1. As an Aviation Collector/Trader I've always wanted an original Air Ministry leCoultre. 2, The seller mis-spelt "Jaeger" in his title so I was hoping I might have bought it cheaper than if everyone had seen it. The movement number is 199719
I'm now hoping I've bought a watch which is what it says it is. Can anyone confirm the above for me?
My thanks in advance, Ian

The dial is not orginal. It has been repainted in a pattern that never existed. The crown is not original and the sweep second looks off as well. In the movement, the sweep second friction spring is a made up part, but the rest looks OK.

Things are "cheap" for a reason I guess.
