Hello, just recently aquired this Pierre Cardin Jaeger watch, 17jewel manual wind black patton leather band. Is there a specific name for this model? What is its value? Its in running condition and keeping excellent time. Any info would be helpful.   | ||

Hi, I do not know thw name of the watch. There are watches sold by Jaeger France in the 1970s that used non Jaeger-LeCoultre movement, i.e. ones made by a third party like A. Schild. They are collectible but much more of a fashion style watch that a watch collector style watch. I don't have a good handle for value, but guessing, maybe $400. | ||

Hello, thanks for the info. Just one more thing, the movement is marked Jaeger, France, 17jewel. Is it a Jager movement or made by another maker like you mentioned. Is Jaeger and Jaeger Lecoulter two different makers? Thanks. | ||

Jaeger France operated independently from Jaeger-LeCoultre Swizterland, probably up until the late 1980s as far as I can tell. The movement in the Pierre Cardin is not a Jaeger-LeCoultre movement. | ||
