Hello. I was wondering if someone could tell me the model, year and approximate value of my father's Le Coultre watch. It is 10K gold-filled with a Kreisler 14K gold bracelet. Serial number on the watch back is "W117303" and numbers on the movement are "489/1" and "726195." I believe it would be from the 40s or 50s. Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, if anyone could tell me where I could get a LeCoultre watch box from the same time period that would be most helpful.

Regards,

Dgoldberg

Dates to approx 1951. Your best bet for old watch boxes is eBay. Expect to pay $75 and up.

Do you think you could suggest an insurance value for it perhaps?

Many thanks in advance.
