Hi everyone,

I've come across this unusual Memovox Worldtimer with a light green world time dial. It's a "cased and timed in the USA" model, 17j K911 movement, 10K gold filled case, "LeCoultre"-branded but has "JL"-signed crowns. Diameter is 35mm w/o crowns. I've never seen a similar model, especially with a colored dial. If genuine, it seems like a 60s design.

What do y'all think? Zaf? :-)

Your insights are much appreciated!
Regards,
Zard

I'm concerned about the colored dial. Patina or not, it seems a little rough at the edges. However, if the inner disc is fake, someone must have put a lot of work into it: a) The Memovox arrow is raised above the plane and gold plated and b)it seems to be at the right distance from the edge for a Worldtimer disc. BUT: Green??

Again, your help and expertise is much appreciated!

The inner disk looks real, just oxidized?
The outer dial looks refinished to me.

Thanks for your feedback, Zaf!

What could the inner disc have been oxidized from to get this color? Or do you know any models with colored inner discs?

What do you mean by refinished regarding the outer dial: just cleaned or tampered with?

How much is this model worth in your opinion?

Thanks again for your help!

I have seen dials ozidize like this, yes. I'm not sure given the condition of the ozidized inner dial and re-done outer dial that this is the watch to get. Maybe wait for a better example.
