Don't know much about Jaeger-LeCoultre so I'm looking for some opinions on this watch I'm interested in. Just being cautious not to buy a franken or overpay.
Any info would be appreciated.
The movement is a K800/C, watch has a repolished steel case and replacement crystal and non-signed crown. Asking price is 550, is that fair? Also, is the combination of case, dial and hands original JLC?
Here are some pics:

Forgot to ask; I suppose a correct crown would be impossible to find?

The watch looks genuine to me, but the pictures are taken from a distance and it is hard to tell to what degree it is original. Personally, I think you are better off getting a watch with a larger movement than the K800, I don't think it will cost you any more, but should hold value better. Thanks,
Zaf

Thanks Zaf!
I agree the movement is a bit small (for the case), but I kinda like the external looks off this one. The steel case, silver crosshair dial and dauphine hands. Is that a combo available with a different movement?

I think they had a cross hair model automatic with or without date fitted with the 880 or 881.
I'm not sure if they still used the larger mechanical wind movements at about the time this watch watch made. I just like the 1940s and 1950s pieces better myself.

Thanks for the info, I think I prefer handwind though. This one would be from the 60's right?

Yes, 1960s. If you have a movement serial # I can tell you within a year.
