Hello,

Is there any difference bewteen a watch with Jaeger Le Coultre on the face and a watch with LeCoultre on the face? The watch in question is an antique from the 1940's (American) and has LeCoultreCo inscribed inside. I'm assuming its a JLC watch but really wondering why it only say LeCoultre on the face.

thanks in advance for your expertise. watch in question

Thanks very much for your prompt repy Zaf! It's very much appreciated.

Do you think there is any real difference in value between these two types of JLC ?

The movements are the same, the cases can be very different, but sometimes (for example the Reverso) they are the same as well.

thanks Zaf. Perhaps I can pick your brain a little further if you don't mind?

Are there any details you could give me on this particular watch.

Its the same watch at the top of this thread.

Many thanks in advance!

It's a standard fare US market watch, from the movement serial number it would be from about 1951.
