Hi, I was given this watch by my grandma. I believe it was a present for her 18th or 21st birthday, which would date it between 1939-1941, it's possible it was given to her as an heirloom though. The back of the watch is stamped with 30991 or 30997 and has several faint etchings - one is clearly 3115, one looks like K524 and one looks like E6YV or VY?3. The face has LeCoultre and Swiss on it and it is a backwind small watch. The bracelet band says Pat Pending and Excalibur 7 St. Steel on it. Can anyone help with the date and value of this small ladies stainless steel watch please? Hopefully the photos will load.... Thank you

These are very pretty watches, but they're not hugely valuable, as they are difficult to repair with very minimal parts availability. Maybe $250-300. Form the looks of it, looks to be around 1955. |

Thanks Zaf. The watch is in full working order at the moment, hopefully it will stay that way. Does it have a model name or number? |

Hi Faberge, It might be an idea to start new thread for your watch so it gets seen in the listing. Karen |

Hi Karen, the US model MAY have had a model designation, but you can only dig it up if you have all the old USA catalogs. I don't have them. I believe the movement that is in the watch is a caliber 426 (or similar). So you can call your watch "Ladies back set in steel with caliber 426", that should sufficiently identify it. Regarding the other fellow, yes please start a new thread. |
