Again I trouble you with questions about this particular watch. This time, I need your expertise to give me a verdict whether the watch is genuine. I took some photographs and uploaded them on a server, since attaching pictures here is cumbersome. You can find the photos at: http://www.aistiharha.fi/jlc/jlc1.jpg http://www.aistiharha.fi/jlc/jlc2.jpg http://www.aistiharha.fi/jlc/jlc3.jpg http://www.aistiharha.fi/jlc/jlc4.jpg http://www.aistiharha.fi/jlc/jlc5.jpg http://www.aistiharha.fi/jlc/jlc6.jpg http://www.aistiharha.fi/jlc/jlc7.jpg Also what puzzles me is the glass, by the weight it resembles more plastic than glass (it could also be very thin and light glass for all I know). Does anyone know what material JLC used with watches from this era? It could also be a replacement part. Best regards, Timo |

Yes it is genuine, the so called "Luftwaffe" JLC, were we suspect it may have been used by the Luftwaffe service personel. Dates to WW2. Don't worry about the glass, it's like worrying about the tires of a 70 year old car. |
