It took me some time to find this forum - glad I am here.

I am seeking additional information on a vintage Master Mariner that belonged to my Grandfather who is in his 90's. I was interested in having it restored for him but was quoted almost $2,000 CAD by a local jeweler who would have sent it to Switzerland.

The markings on the back say:
Water Resistant
5 ATM
Stainless Steel
563-42

Could anyone with knowledge of this fine timepiece please provide me with an estimated date and cost of the model.

Would you have it refurbished?

Thank you.
