1950 would be a 700,000 serial, not 1.67 million. The seller is off by over 15 years. About 1966 would be closer, I think. Sure looks clean and nice.

Jeez, sounds like maximum retail there. I have some pretty nice ones for < $750.

Maximum retail is right, though it is a very clean example. The dial is nice and looks like it could possibly be original. Certainly a very good re-dial, if not. Usually these models have deep gouges between the lugs where they bore a metal bracelet for years, but this one seems to be very straight and the lug edges look reasonably sharp and nice, not overbuffed. So often they're extremely rounded. No opening scuffs on the back, either. A nice example, overall.
