Beautiful 18k Le Coultre size 19 30 jewel repeater pocket watch with hunting case. At this time we are accepting offers on this beautiful watch. Please keep in mind that we do have some idea what the watch is worth. The back of the inside back plate of the watch is engraved "Repetition a minutes Premiere Qualite Reglage Breguet balencier Compensateur 30 Rubis A. Leansel Zurich" This translates roughly to "Minute Repeater The First Quality Adjustment Breguet Compensation beam 30 Rubies A. Leansel Zurich" The watch is marked on all 3 cover plates 18k. Each plate cover is also marked with a small cameo mark in a square. The watch case is as I said 18k gold and weighs 1.25 troy ounces. The jewels are all rubies. The serial number on 2 of the watch covers is 24448, the serial number on the front cover plate is 48. The condition of this watch is not perfect but it is in working condition. The outer back plate has come detached from the case and it has a repair spot on it. The dial face is porcelain with Roman Numerals and it has a hairline crack. The minute and hour hands are only partially there with the second hand being completely intact. It is our belief that the watch was made by an independent Swiss watch maker for Le Coultre but we are unsure which maker. I believe this is a caliber 43 B HC as it appears identical to the picture shown in the 2006 complete price guide to watches. I really don't have a lot of info on these, sorry. Sometimes if you carefully look under the repeater hammer, they will be stamped LeCoultre. |
