My first post had a terrible photo, I have improved them. I thank you in advance for possibly ID'ing this beautiful watch and its approx. value. A renter disappeared in the night and left this behind in the late 70's,never heard from him again.

It's usually referred to as the "flying saucer" but I don't know the exact catalog name which will be different.

Thank you, I found one similar,called Disco Volante, and it had a 480/CW movementbut the lugs were visible. The watch I have has never been opened and I don't know if that is a good idea. Any idea of value or if it should be insured? IT still works but has been in a box for over 30 years. Your input is greatly appreciated.

It is probably worth around $600, maybe a little more to a retail buyer, but it isn't an easy watch to sell.
