Hi, I am a vintage JLC addict and own for many years a JLC memovox cal 825. Now, I'd really love to buy a Futurematic. It seems that some Fmatics were released for the US market under the brand leCoultre whereas in Europe they were sold under the brand JLC. Is that correct? I am very attracted by the black dialed ones. Are they very rare? Do I have a chance to get one for not more than $800? Thanks a lot! By the way Zaf, I read that you were supposed to write a book on JLC watches, is it available? Thanks! Thierry |

Thierry, Contact me in person. I can pull a black dial out of my collection, I can sell you one for a little more than $800 (but under $1000) in black if you'd like. I can do a silver two tone for closer to $800. [email protected] I hope to have the first draft of the book done my this summer. |

Howdy. I own a few old Hamiltons, but am thinking about moving up to a Futurematic. My other watches have white dials so I'd prefer a Futurematic in black. I'm pretty much a complete neophyte, so my questions are simple: How do I find one? How much do they go for nowadays? And how can I be sure the one I buy is in good shape and good running order? Thanks! |
