(It was sold to me as an 18 Karat Gold front and back, in the back reads

and it is a bit weared in the back, I believe is called a bumper)

In the condition it is in, it would likely be anywhere from $2000 to $2400. You'd need to refinish the dial to get top dollar.

I'm wondering if you can give me any information on a vintage Jaeger LeCoultre pocket watch that belonged to my grandfather. It is round with a white face, with a seconds hand within an inner circle on the lower part of the face. There is no date or cover. It has the text 6E/50 A16231 engraved on the silver back. I can take a photo and upload it if the above is too little information.

Sounds like you have a British Army pocket watch. These are frequently chewed uo, so value is highly dependent on condition, it can be anywhere from $100 to $400.
