Hello,

I am new to this forum. Not sure what the rules are in regard to linking to outside site and/or asking questions about specific pieces for sale out in the real world...

That being said, I'm curious about a listing for a vintage memovox worldtime.

The price seems high, and I'm aware that these pieces are notoriously easy to fake (the dial anyhow).

But does anyone have any opinions or observations on this watch? One thing that jumps out is the alarm indicator - I've never seen one so prominently raised, or with a stud in it. Also, is "SWISS MADE" correct at the bottom?

Its a european dealer and JLC (not LeCoultre) dial.

Any guidance is much appreciated

Worldtime dial isn't even close to correct. There are some good fake worldtime dials out there... this isn't one of them.

Another big problem: that's a U.S.-market case housing a Euro-market dial. Frankenwatch.

Thanks Greg. Something certainly seemed 'off'; will keep hunting.

An easy give away is the text of "New York" being under the alarm pointer.
