We have a A. Lecoultre Square clock (2" square with cut out corners) which I would like to know some info on. On the face it is printed A. Lecoulter, 8 day. Under the back cover it has; six jewel, 8 day, A. Lecoultre, swiss, sandoz, #81880, 2 day adjustment. On the actual cover it was first cleaned in the late 1920's Does anyone know what this is and if so, what the value is? Thank you, Art![Photo](http://66.92.151.22/discus/messages/622/4618.jpg) |

Hello, There is still some controversy whether or not "A. LeCoultre" has anything to do with "Jaeger-LeCoultre" as we know it. Hard to tell. It seems that the vast majority of "A. LeCoultre" products are found in the early USA market. The brand does not seem to have gone past the 1930s. Yours might even be made by Henri Sandoz and has "A. LeCoultre" on the dial. That said, it looks like you have perhaps a desk clock or a car clock. I think it was either mounted in a dash or is missing it's stand. Value oaf this sort of thing is usually about $100-125. Zaf |
