I was looking at a Jaeger Lecoultre Automatic Memovox, and I noticed it did not have "Swiss Made" or even "swiss" at the bottom of the dial or anywhere on the dial. I was looking through Zaf's book and I could see a few JLC watches without any "swiss" or "swiss made" anywhere on the dial, though no automatic Memovox's, though I have seen pictures of other automatic Memovox's on the web without the marking. Is this significant? Does it indicate a repainted dial, or is this normal? thanks for your Help |

Hi, the ones in the book are probably obscured by the crystal or the bezel in the photos. They almost always have it in some way or another. |

So if a Memovox doesn't have "Swiss Made" somewhere on the dial it is a repainted dial? Or mabye the transfer fell off at some stage in the watches life? thanks |

I would expect Swiss or some variation on a Memovox dial. This is often obscured in photos by the angle at which the photo is taken. |
