I was looking at a Jaeger Lecoultre Automatic Memovox, and I noticed it did not have "Swiss Made" or even "swiss" at the bottom of the dial or anywhere on the dial. I was looking through Zaf's book and I could see a few JLC watches without any "swiss" or "swiss made" anywhere on the dial, though no automatic Memovox's, though I have seen pictures of other automatic Memovox's on the web without the marking.
Is this significant? Does it indicate a repainted dial, or is this normal?
thanks for your Help

Hi, the ones in the book are probably obscured by the crystal or the bezel in the photos. They almost always have it in some way or another.

So if a Memovox doesn't have "Swiss Made" somewhere on the dial it is a repainted dial? Or mabye the transfer fell off at some stage in the watches life?
thanks

I would expect Swiss or some variation on a Memovox dial. This is often obscured in photos by the angle at which the photo is taken.
