What caliber movements were used in the classic '30s/'40s vintage 8 day travel alarm clocks? Also, can anyone familiar with these clocks advise on how to set the alarm? There is a single button/wheel (pictured) used for all setting and winding. Thanks in advance. Regards, Tony C.

Well, I figured it out on my own. Impressive design that the single wheel/button easily performs four separate functions. The movement, based on winding action and performance, also suggests high quality. Amazing, really, when one considers that some of them are 70-80 years old!

Yes, these are really beautiful travel clocks. Nice one you have with a charcoal dial. |
