My father was in France in WW2 and always wore this watch with this Jaeger-LeCoultre signature on the face. The faceplate is almost a copper color with black numbers, 12-3-6-9 and marks in between. It is framed in a gold color and also gold back w/ the numbers: 306343 A. I have always wondered where he purchased this since I've never heard of this brand before (not knowing much at all about watches). He passed away in 2000 and I now have this watch. I do not have the wristband anymore but kept the watch, itself, for sentimental reasons. I am curious as to any information I could get regarding this watch and possibly how much it would be worth. Thank you.

Hello Donna, we'll really need a picture. It could be anything...from the serial number it is looks like an 18k gold watch.
