Hello every body! I am new here and looking for help to identify properly the watch of my father (I think it has a 424 caliber?) Thanks! |

It's certainly possible that you have a 424 or an 11L, the designation before it. These 4 series rectangular movements are hard to precisely identify when the balance wheel is moving. |

Hello, is it possible that it is the Caliber 410 or 413? Year ca. 1935. The only different of 413 and 410 is the clockwork high. 413 = 3,9 mm and 410 = 3,35 mm. Gratulation! For this very nice watch. :-) |

Thanks for your answers. I post another picture with the balance wheel stopped. I hope it will help you. Regards. |

No the 410 has a distintive balance bridge that is not in the shape of the movement above. It can be a 413 or 424 (old designations 11UO or 11L). Given the early serial number I would lean towards the 413 rather than the 424. |

I found the document under and I think (but you are the expert!) that my watch does not look like? |

Well I am unortunatly no expert. But perhaps in the future. I am learning to be an expert. ZAF is the expert. ;-) You see, that I found 2 clockworks, but one of them was wrong. ;-) More than this at the moment I can't help, at the moment I am a beginner. Sorry :-) |

Yes, you are right, I checked it is in fact an 11L (424). Unlike the 413, the 11L bridge hides the escapement. |

Thank you very much Zaf for your expertise! Have you an idea of the year (year period) of fabrication of this watch? I would say before 1939 but this is only because my father wore it during WW 2. |
