Hello All, my first post so be gentle. Acquired earlier this month a "near" NOS JLC Memovox E855 with the "ebonized" dial as I'v seen reading through some of the posts on this forum. While I'm sure the case, dial, movement is original, I'm curious about the Gay Freres bracelet. Was this bracelet factory stock for this watch? I've seen so many pics on the net of the same watch with straps and aftermarket bracelets, but haven't run across any info about the stock bracelet for this model. I tried uploading the pics but got tired of trying to solve why some pics uploaded and others didn't, so here's the link to the photobucket album I created. s707.photobucket.com/albums/ww74/PMR317/JLC%20MEMOVOX/ Appreciate any wisdom that is shared. |

thnxs Zaf ... although difficult to see, the underside of the case end link (one side per link) is stamped "JLM". While the reference to "JL" is apparent (Jaeger LeCoultre), I'm not sure what the letter M stands for or if its a correct engraving. One would think the obvious meaning is "Memovox", but I'm not convinced yet. |

thnxs for the compliment Jacquot. I'm not sure what the going rate is for these classics, although I think I overpaid some, but couldn't pass it up especially with the bracelet in 95% condition. |
